HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: As a Shipper/Receiver you will be responsible for performing receiving and shipping functions incoming and outgoing freight along with movement of all material within the plant and on the grounds. Strict adherence to policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude are the key aspects of this position.

• Receives, inspects and processes incoming shipments
• Deliver received product to appropriate work center drop zone, department, or personnel
• Replenish stock parts in service department
• Picks, packs, and processes outgoing shipments in a proficient, safe, and efficient manner
• Operates fork truck
• Daily work hours will reflect support needed and work content in shipping and receiving.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:

• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and work on feet for length of time
• Technological skills required with knowledge of operation’s manufacturing software, as well as Microsoft products, including Excel and Word in Windows environment
• Forklift certification within 90 days of hire date
• Works well in all- weather climates
• Organizational, Attention to detail, and follow-up skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong team player
• GED, with a High School Degree preferred
• Experience in a production warehouse environment desired
• APICS studies helpful

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, lifting, and standing
• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke
• Outside elements; including temperature extremes
